Back in 2018, while exploring Facebook, Chidi stumbled across Kiera’s page. Something about her caught his eye — but it wasn’t until months later, in 2019, that Kiera replied and said "hello." From that moment, the two began to talk, laugh, and form a connection that felt easy and natural, even from miles apart.
Our Story
Life, had its own plans. Kiera was focused on school and raising her boys, while Chidi was working hard on his career and personal growth. Their paths drifted, and though the timing wasn’t right, they never truly lost touch. Through the years, they stayed in contact on social media, checking in every now and then, never realizing that fate was quietly keeping them close.
Then came the summer of 2024. One comment from Kiera on Chidi’s post reignited everything. What was once a spark became a flame again - brighter than before. As they reconnected, Kiera shared her desire for a complete family and her admiration for Chidi’s strength, discipline, and drive. Chidi, touched by her honesty, and how much their goals aligned, he knew he wanted to make Kiera his lifetime partner. He embraced her and the boys wholeheartedly. They agreed not to waste time and to build something real together.
From that moment on, their bond grew deeper. They met each other’s immediate family, celebrated holidays, and created beautiful memories that felt like home. Then, in April 2025, Chidi made it official - sending for the love of his life and asking her the most important question of all: “Will you marry me?”
Now, as they prepare to say “I do”, Chidi and Kiera look forward to celebrating their love surrounded by family and friends - proof that sometimes, love simply needs time to find its perfect moment!
